:secret_smile:I want to know what`s the different between pre-inking curve and ink presetting curve in Heidelberg press?
As i know, KBA press have one curve at all? |
The ink preset compensation curve, is the compensation for the ink key value (position) for a kind of ink with a kind of paper according to the ink coverage of ink zone.
Pre-inking curve - in the job change, if ink rollers of printing units did not wash. The ink film thickness on the roller is correct for the last job. If the next job having a large different of ink coverage when compare with the last job. The ink key preset value would not have an instant effect on the change of ink film thickness. This will affect the no of sheet need to print to make the new ink setting become stable, this effect would be more obvious in Heidelberg press, this due to the ink path design of Heidelberg is longer than the other vendors. The goal of this pre-inking is try to correct this and make sure the ink key preset can be done within 150 sheets impression. Almost all Japan presses having a feature (forgot the name) that operator would input the CIP/3 data of next job during the production of current job. The console would counter the no. of sheet need to be printed, which enter by the operator. For example, a job need to print 5500 sheets. During the production of this job, if the operator already enter the next job CIP/3 data, at the last 50 sheets of printing of current job. The console would change the ink key value for next job already. Remember that the change of ink key value would not affect the printing immediately, if will effect on the sheet may be 100 sheets later (the no. of sheets is depends on the ink path distance of the press). After change a new set of plate for next job, the new ink key setting would take a short time to reach stable. |
How does the pre-inking curve work? What part it controled to reach the right ink thickness as soon as possible?
Does the pre-inking curve related to the Japanese feature?Just input the ink key preset data of the next job in press during the current job? How to caculate the pre-inking curve ?By the same test like compensation curve? In mainland does a factory use this curve on their machine? How made this pre-inking curve? The operator can made it by himself?Or have to need the help of equipment supplier? Sorry i have too much question about this pre-inking curve~I didn`t heart it before~Maybe i didn`t know heidelberg machine deep~ |
I does not a matter to ask so many questions, I believed that I asked much more than that.
Heidelberg does not like the Japanese press, operator need to run a speparate procedure, just 2 keys at the console, "print without vibrator" (the no of sheet need to print was pre-defined, different model has different no. of sheets). Then change the plates, after that apply the pre-inking curve. If the curve setup correctly, after certain no. of print the OK sheet would be reach. Heidelberg has another test form for doing the per-inking curve. You need to print around 300 sheets and measure the density at every 50 sheets. By using this collected data with their own formula, then a curve can be plot. I believed that almost all of the new Heidelberg press during installation, Heidelberg engineer should do this for the customer. I believed that the customer need to purchase the CIP/3 preset. In German, Heidelberg Print Media Academy provide this is a part of training course. Having no idea whether the Heidelberg PMA in Shenzhen has this course or not. At this moment I just know that this was done by Heidelberg engineer and they always telling customer this is company secret. I think they are worrying the operator just only part of the calibration and try to done it by themselves and come to the end and complain the system is no good. |
