HCF Exit Sensor does not turn ON a spec time (which depends on the tray) after the Feed Out Sensor of
an appropriate one of the trays in HCF turns ON.

Check Items
• Paper Path for a foreign object/burr/piece of paper
• HCF Transport Belt for a poor tension
• HCF Transport Roll for dirt/paper particles/wear/a poor rotation
• HCF Takeaway Rolls 1-3 for dirt/paper particles/wear/a poor rotation
• HCF Exit Roll for dirt/paper particles/wear/a poor rotation
• HCF Exit Clutch for an improper operation/slippage
• Check for poorly latched HCF T/A Chute
• Drive gears for wear/breakage
• Check for out-of-spec paper.
• Check the following for an open wire or poor contact. If the wires are good, replace HCF Exit Sen-sor (PL 9.18).

– HCF Exit Sensor PF64-1«HCF PWB JF1-B6
– HCF Exit Sensor PF64-3«HCF PWB JF1-B4
• If the results of the above checks are OK, replace HCF PWB (PL 9.14).
