077-123 Exit Motion Sensor Jam

The pulse detection time has fallen below the specified time
range.
Check items
・ Check the EXIT MOTION SENSOR (PL 5.3) for improper
installation, contamination, and foreign substances.
・ Check the SENSOR WHEEL (PL 5.3) of the EXIT MOTION
SENSOR for damage, contamination, and revolution
failure.
・ Check the paper transport path for anything that might
obstruct the paper.
・ Check the PRESSURE ROLL (PL 5.4) and the HEAT ROLL
(PL 5.2) for contamination, wear, and revolution failure.
・ Check the GEAR (PL 5.1) and etc. for disengagement and
damage.
・ Check the EXIT ROLLER (PL 5.4) for contamination, wear,
and revolution failure.
・ Check the GEAR (PL 5.4) and etc. for disengagement and
damage.
・ Check whether an out of spec paper is being used.
Procedure
Enter IOT DC330[010-207].
Remove the SENSOR WHEEL of the EXIT MOTION SENSOR
and remove any obstruction on the sensor light path.
Use a sheet of blank paper to block/clear the light path to the
sensor.
Does the display of IOT DC330[010-207] change between
High/Low?
Y N
Go to the Permeable Sensor Failure FIP and check the
EXIT MOTION SENSOR (PL 5.3).
Install the SENSOR WHEEL of the EXIT MOTION SENSOR.
Switch the combination of the IOT DC330[010-081~084] output
signals (Bit0, Bit1, Bit2, Bit3). (Refer to [Chapter 7 BSD CH10.2]).
Enter IOT DC330[010-080] and turn it ON.
Does the FUSER DRIVE MOTOR rotate?
Y N
Go to 010-324 Fuser Drive Motor Lock Error FIP.
Replace the IOT PWB (PL 7.1).
