不知道4.0的能不能直接升到4.1呢???

官方说了，只要是合同期内可以免费升级到4.1
合同满了就不能升。

Hello people,

I would like to know when EFI plans to release XF's next version. I guess support for the new Epson with the white ink will be included.
Are you going to release a printer pack for XF 4.0.1 or the upgrade will be the only way to drive this printer

Ver 4.1 should be released within few weeks. I heard that it is not going to be free for 4.0 users? Is it true?

I guess, standard $599? Can you tell us what justifies the upgrade price? Any IMPORTANT new features? Will 4.2 also be a paid upgrade?

DLambert,

If you are currently on XF 4.0 and have purchased a maintenance contract you would get the upgrade free.

Otherwise, it is not free.

This upgrade is feature rich.

Hi,

I purchased my upgrade from version 3.x to version 4.0.1 at the beginning of January. In the box was a leaflet advising of a free upgrade to version 4.1 as I'd purchsed within a grace period.

I would imagine that upgrading from version 3.x to version 4.1 would have been more expensive than from 3.x to 4.0.1 to 4.1 outside the grace period?

Herewith, the text quoted on the flyer accompanying my upgrade.......

"Free upgrade to version 4.1!
EFI is offering a free upgrade to version 4.1 from all versions of EFI XF v4.0 shipped by EFI between 1st of January, 2010 and the launch of version 4.1. Please contact your retail dealer for the 4.1 upgrade......"
