I've been searching in the forum and have not found, information about this kind of flexo plates. Today I recived a folder with some brochures, a printed plastic film and little demo plate.

It' s from Flint Group (Dupont Has too), and the commercial agent explain me that is like ESKO HD2 or Kodak plates with the difference that the texturized is not maked by sofware because it comes on the surface of the plate.

Someone has tested this flexo plate technology?

Flat Top Dot flexo plate is a textured surface plate, it's a way to obtain the same resultas as Esko HD2 wich texture the plate by software.

Yes, It's that and this plates are oxygen free too.

On the other hand, Kodak uses both technologies in his plates, they texturize by software and by hardware in the same plate.

If youre are asking about the images yo have submited, I think the relief it's not good, so the letters are not clean, not well defined.

Here is the results of Dupont Flat Top Dot Plate (Blue Spider) and Kodak (Black Spider) all to at 4000 dpi.

fujifilm also offer flat top flexoplate, its type is FW-A (analogue) and FW-L (LAM). you may consult with fuji sales.
