Usually, the less expensive and smaller machines are RGB printers; they have ad use CMYK inks but they only process RGB data.

You can not address the 'black only', "cyan only', 'magenta only', 'yellow only' channel in such a device.

It would have to be a CMYK device and not an RGB device that will turn what ever you send to it in to RGB and then reseperate it at the printer, as it sees fit.
